The Mighty Mighty Bosstones 마이티 마이티 보스톤스 (별칭 The Bosstones)는

특징

Bosstones은 종종의 장르의 조상으로 여겨진다. 

스카 펑크 와 그 하위 장르의 크리에이터 스카 코어 의 믹스 요소 스카 와 펑크 록 과 하드 코어 의 인기를 끌게 만든 밴드이다.

1989 년 데뷔 곡 Devil 's Night Out 출시를 시작으로, 밴드는 1990년대에 걸쳐 장거리투어 및 녹음을 하여

미국 3차 Ska 열풍의 발전에 영향을 미쳤으며 음악 주류에서 장르를 대중화한 최초의 밴드 중 하나였다.

 

다른 밴드들 보다 Ska 색이 더 짙다. 이로 인해 안티 팬들에게 질타를 받기도 했다.

 

체크무늬는 그들의 트래이드마크 중 하나로 자리 잡았다.
